How this project started

This site began as a frustration with slot reviews that repeated the same paragraph about theme and graphics while skipping the numbers that actually matter to a player: RTP, volatility, max win, hit frequency. Too many pages copied each other, and when the numbers disagreed, nobody said so.

We wanted something different — a place where a Canadian player asking about a game like Expansion! from Betsoft could find out, plainly, what the studio itself publishes, and where the industry databases disagree with it. Not a marketing page dressed up as a review.

The team is small on purpose. Everyone who writes or edits here has spent years around online casino content, either as researchers, editors, or players who got tired of guessing which number to trust.

We are not a licensing body and we do not test payout software ourselves. What we do is read primary sources — provider game pages, official press releases, regulator filings where they exist — and compare them against the wider set of slot databases and reviews before we publish anything with a number attached.

How we work on a review

Every review starts with the provider's own material. For a title like Expansion!, that means Betsoft's game page and its release communication first, since those are the only source that can speak for the developer directly.

From there we cross-check against independent slot databases and casino portals. When they agree with the official figures, we state the number plainly.
